Harris Cooper

Harris Cooper is a neuroscientist at Duke University.[1]He specializes in psychology.[12]

Cooper, the author of “ The Battle over Homework: Common Ground for Administrators, Teachers and Parents,” published his first synthesis of homework in 1989 before his second in 2006.[3]While academics continue to study the subject, a meta-analysis of research on the subject, published in 2006 by researcher Harris Cooper and colleagues, is often cited.[4]In 2006, he helped write an oft-cited article that reviewed 16 years of homework studies.[5]
