Emilio Ferrara

Emilio Ferrara is a computer scientist at the University of Southern California.[1]

Ferrara was formerly at the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University, and is now a computer scientist at the University of Southern California.[2]He focuses on understanding bots’ effectiveness, though he doesn’t track their provenance.[3]Using “machine learning techniques and cognitive behavioral modeling,” he then separated human accounts form bots:[4]
