Jeffrey Epstein’s Death: The Plot Thickens

D r. Michael Baden, the noted forensic pathologist and former chief medical examiner for New York City, recently appeared on Fox and Friends to discuss the death of alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. At the request of the decedent’s brother, Baden observed Epstein’s autopsy and is investigating the circumstances under which the accused died while in federal custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. Consequently, in an effort to prod officials to release their findings, Epstein’s brother authorized Baden to appear on Fox to question the medical examiner’s conclusions.[27]

Epstein Autopsy Results Delayed, FBI Conducts Raid

New York City's medical examiner office has performed an autopsy of the body of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, but a determination on the official cause of death is "pending further information at this time." Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson made the revelation in an Aug. 11 statement, in which she said that at the request of those "representing" the financier-who was found dead in his cell from an "apparent suicide"-and with the awareness of the federal prosecutor, she allowed well-known pathologist Dr. Michael Baden "to observe the autopsy examination."[28]

Jeffrey Epstein’s autopsy concludes his death was a suicide by hanging

The medical examiner is releasing the findings Friday. Barbara Sampson, the city's chief medical examiner, had said Sunday that Epstein's autopsy was complete but she needed more information before reaching a conclusion. She also noted the autopsy was observed by Michael Baden, a private pathologist retained by Epstein's lawyers.[222324]
